How many times have you been distractedly wandering the aisles of a hypermarket and felt irresistibly attracted to a product displayed in full view on a promotional stand? It’s not on the shopping list but, for reasons that are not entirely clear, you have to buy it. And what happens in smaller stores that don’t have space for promotional stands?
There is a solution, and Promomedia has trialled with it with Bonduelle: the delivery, even to small supermarkets, of an empty display stand. Yes, empty.
The reason is simple: a pre-built stand would create endless problems for the management of daily deliveries, while an empty, lightweight and handy display does not create any, partly because Promomedia takes care of delivering it. The supermarket only has to place the order and allocate an area. The rest is done by Promomedia, which is responsible for designing, building, installing and finally setting up the stands directly at the point of sale.
However, a service can only be said to be successful when it’s verified by the customer. For this reason, Promomedia created a dedicated portal to allow constant monitoring of its activities. This tool allows data to be entered in real time, complete with photos of the delivered set-up. Our staff are also there to manage and track any anomalies, supporting every stage until the final verification.
There are many advantages of this activity and we can report it has been a real success: the most significant benefit is reduced costs for the company, which no longer has to worry about warehouse storage, setup and logistics. And let’s not forget the smug smile of our sales managers, as the bottom line is always at the checkout.
Activities: design and setup, picking & delivery, portal for monitoring activities.
