But the story of Pastificio Rana goes back a long way: to when a very young Giovanni, observing the rapid changes in society, realised that the women of the future would be increasingly employed outside the home and have no time to make home-made pasta. Hence the idea of a pasta factory that could make tortellini as good as homemade… but much more convenient!
